Toys R Us Review

satisfied customer - customer service

I recently went to Toys R Us on Whipple Ave Canton, Oh and received the best customer service I have ever had, or even heard about. Two specific people, a woman named Mel and a man, Steve. They went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of, even when they were extremely busy. I am very pleased and glad there are still people like them to help.

Yes, there are still some good employees out there who try to do the right things for the customers. However, I've stopped shopping at Babies R Us ever since I learned that the store forces their cashiers to ask every customer about credit cards, etc. Then, if they don't get enough customers to sign up, they can fire the cashier. I object to this practice. If I want a credit card I'll sign up for one. In this economy, I find it offensive that the store not only tries to force credit cards on customers, but will actually put employees on probation or fire them if they cannot get enough customers to sign up for credit that they do not want or need. I have no intention of signing up for a credit card, so I've decided not to shop there anymore. Far be it from me to be the reason why a cashier might get into trouble with an employer who is clearly out of touch with their customer base.
