I recently applied for a toys r us credit card and use it to purchase my son a electric dirt bike for his bday. The bike was over $400.00-when they shipped the item, they shipped the completely wrong dirt bike and when I called to have them ship the correct one they told me I had to return the other one 1st!!! by return I mean Fed Ex had to come back out and pick it up. After I became extremely upset they paid for it to be shipped back and told me that once they confirm it was on its way back they would release authorization for the correct item to be shipped. this morning I get a call saying they have a wrong tracking number so they still can't ship the right bike until they get the correct tracking number of the previous package. Im at work so now it will be yet another day before the right item is shipped. I will never shop toys R us again after this awful experience. My poor son has been so upset and it DEFINATELY feels like we are the ones who are paying the price for this companies BIG TIME screw up. In all fairness to us the customer the right item shouldve been shipped immediately and we shouldnt be sitting here waiting. Apparently this is all a result of how I paid for the item, which is more screwed up because its the companies own credit card. When I applied they told me I got a instant 15% off my 1st purchase but when I went to use the code it said it had already been redeemed-so I had to call to get another code. Then when wee got the wrong item and I called to complain, they hung the phone up on me after waiting 15 minutes. It has literally been one headache after another and coming from someone who does all my Christmas shopping on line---I can tell you I have NEVER dealt with anything like this before. Im so dissappointed
