I went in to the gaithersburg md store today and without even an "im sorry" rude cashier "Bill" advised because my return was 2 days past 90 days, the defective toy could not even be exchanged for store credit. My receipt mind you had 15 other items on it because I spend so much money there every christmas,this toy was only one on which we spent over $300 this past christmas.

I have twin 6 year olds, have a lot more toys to buy before we send them off to college, and they will all be bought at target, walmart, or kmart from now on. Bad move Toys R Us , over $20!!!!!!

Oh, and in reference to Bill and Karen on duty today, Perhaps during employee orientation a few hours should be spent teaching cashiers customer service basics, even if the answer is no, say it with a smile, not a sneer!!

I have had nothing but great experiences at Babies R Us and Toys R Us. So when I hear people complain about the service, my first thought is what did you do for them to not want to help you. Did you speak with a tone? Did you belittle someone? Did you walk in all demanding! Is this user error and somehow it's everyone else fault but your own? Im tired of people complaining about how everyone else in the world doesn't cater to them. Where do you get this self-entitlement from? If the service is that bad! Go to Wal-mart or Target! Please! Before you go posting complaints read the back of you receipt! You where not two days past, you were 92 days! Anyway, why would you wait so long to return something you didn't want!

as a cashier and service desk employee at another r us company, i have to say i'm on bill's side. the return policy is plainly printed on the receipt so there is no reason for dispute. it helps save the store money to keep prices low because chances are, that item has already been clearanced and that money can't be made up. also, you're probably not the first customer to argue with him over something you should have known before walking in the store!!

you have to cut them some slack...you did have a receipt past 90 days and it is really difficult working there and dealing with people that want to return things when they had three months to do it!
