  • Can't meet shipping obligations



    Ordered my gift items on the Dec 21.To ensure that they will get here on time I paid for expedited shipping. The website advertised this option as 2 day shipping so I would be getting them on Dec 23. Nope. Called both Toys R Us and FedEx numerous times.     I purchased a Chicco stroller trio with an additional two year warranty. I specifically asked is it an in store warranty. The lady at the Corpus Christi store said yes.     I recently applied for a toys r us credit card and use it to purchase my son a electric dirt bike for his bday. The bike was over $400.00-when they shipped the item, they shipped the completely wrong dirt bike and when I called to have them ship the correct one they told me I had to return the other one 1st!!! by return I mean Fed Ex had to come back out and pick it up.     I tried to order a small item online from Toys R Us/Babies R Us because they were not able to get the item in store. The online order kept saying that due to shipping restrictions it was unable to process my order. I called Customer Service and although the woman was very helpful, she informed me that in order to ship to my address, I would have to pay $54 shipping because we live 5 minutes north of Edmonton which they consider a rural area. My dresser was damaged when we received it in 2 spots - a scratch on the front drawer and a hole in the back. I called them to see what my options were.     I visited Toys R Us Edmonton-north store (97 Street, TOYS R US #3535) on July 13th. I purchased two big toys and a couple of small items and paid $99.72.     I had a gift card from toysrus and some how all the money on the card got wiped off without me making any purchases.     Attempted to return a broken item within 24hrs with a receipt and was told I needed to produce a valid US ID.     Just got back from Toysrus after spending $100 . They had signs posted all over the Imagination toys stating 20% off. We bought an Imagination toy for $19.99 and received no discount as verified when I looked at our receipt when we got home.     I was shopping in the Oklahoma city and had an issue with a ln incorrect priced endcap. I took a picture of the endcap as the mgr corrected and would not honor the price.     I have 2 of these tablets. One of them I got because the s7 power button stopped working and the company sent me brand new upgrade. All I had to do is pay yo ship it to them. These tablets have Google play and the kurio store. One of the worst customer service calls. I ordered an item for a baby shower and did not receive it, although it says I did (fine, I understand things happen). I called to replace it, said I would get it in time for my baby shower. Never received an email saying the item shipped so I called back and they said it hadn't shipped. I was transferred to a lady who said she would speak to the department and make sure my item got shipped out (which is only a few days away). She also said I would receive a confirmation email and a call to let me know it was shipped. I never received either. I called back today and there was a note on my order saying that if I called back, to tell me I can cancel my order because I may not receive it by the date I'd like. I was very frustrated I had to call to be told that when I was supposed to receive an email and a phone call. I also have been charged already and they are unable to refund my money but I'm still going to receive my item (which is a day AFTER the baby shower). It wouldn't be too much of a problem if I weren't traveling out of state for this baby shower. I was told that because I had standard shipping, it it couldn't be rushed. I understand I had standard shipping for the first order I placed, but this was a replacement order and not because of my mistake. The lady told me the warehouse chooses what they want to rush and what they don't need to rush and apparently my order wasn't one they felt the need to rush. Even though the item hasn't shipped yet, I apparently can't stop it from being shipped and they had to put in a request for me to get my refund, which may or may not be approved in 5-10 business days. I was pushed around by this customer service and I really don't like being lied to and taken advantage of. I'm very nice and understanding on the phone, as I once worked in customer service, but they beat around the bush way too much. I am newly pregnant and will not be using them for my registry! I surely will pass on the words to my friends; we are all in the stages of having our first children and hopefully they will not use them on their registry either!

I went to store # 7031 3/28/13 - I asked the associate ringing up my item if the discount had been given – all he had to do was say yes instead – he was rude and inconvenienced me – Instead he said – “No, it’s buy one get one 30% off – the sign clearly said all scarris dolls – 30% off – no bogo at all. He sent the manager to check it out – as she was gone he continued to be rude to me so I left to make sure she knew what the issue was – I was surprised to find she didn’t care – Tonya does not require associates to know promotions – she made that clear – Tonya does not require associates to ring people up in order – I had to wait while he rung up several people who came after me – because I knew the price of the item and the associate didn’t – Tonya doesn’t require the associates to be friendly or helpful and she’s fine with them being extraordinarily rude - I went through all that for no reason – it turns out the discount had automatically gone through – so the associate gave me wrong information twice – the associate remained very confident and cocky in being allowed to give wrong information – he never apologized or showed any remorse and Tonya supported his actions and his attitude in full.

ok so this is my first experience with cyber monday and im very disappointed!!! i shopped online at toys r us for almost 2 hours!! i was so excited cause i found tons of justin bieber stuff (which is all my 3 year old ask for)and other stuff for my daughters for Christmas!! When i got to the check out page it told me to click the except or whatever the button was to confirm my order, it just goes to the same page!! I tried again a few times and also tried 2 diffent types of payment and same thing!! i called cutomer service and she tells me thier system has been doing it all day that i just need to keep trying!! im sorry i have a family to tend to i cant sit on my computer all night praying it goes through!! Apparently somebody needs to get a new system!! OH and i asked the lady if i was gonna miss the sales that are going on today and the woman laughs at me!!! i see nothing funny at all im totally pissed!

I purchased a Kindle wifi with 3g site to store 10/4/11. I Purchased this because of original discription saying 3g wifi! Only option was to buy on-line and pick up at a store. I drive 40 minutes one direction to pick this up and was presented the model that didn't have the 3g. I even had the store look up how it was advertised on their web site. It was not advertised correctly! I was given an excuse that it was Amazons fault and was given the option to return it. Any other store that promotes a price whether it's right or not always honers it, then fixes their mistake! Not the store I went too. Then to top it off I stood there another 20-25 minutes because they allowed a customer to hen peck an order on their only computer they could do the return on instead of doing it for the customer to speed up the process. Toy R Us needs BIG improvements on customer service! Or the store I went to needs re-training. Oh and when I e-mailed them explaining what I went through and how it was handled I get no better customer service than I did in their store! Though I did noticed after I copied and pasted their false / wrong advertisement to the e-mail I sentthem they had no problem changing how it was advertised on their web site- SO they fixed it, but don't want to aknowlege they are in the wrong!! Thank you Toys R Us for wasting my time and gas money. Evidently if you read the reviews for the kindle without 3g now on their web site there were other people it happened to that are mad also. When I worked retail I was always taught to satisfy the customer because their experience is like a snowball effect- they will go home and tell a few people who tell a few more. Oh, and by the way I'm a mom of FOUR children- that's allot of sales you just lost from turning me away- just think of all the birthday parties we attend besides all the holiday gift giving we do - duh!

Toys r us customer service rep by phone are rude unhelpful and screams at you! Spoke to babies r us customer service rep Damien from Florida and he was kind and very helpful!!! Made my day after being yelled at from the other rep. He didn't even tell me his name because he knew I would complain and knew how rude he was!

Warning!

Do NOT order from ToysRUS.com. Their web site stock is not updated in real time. I ordered a WII guitar hero guaruteed (sp) in stock and delivery by christmas eve. I happily went on xmas vacation only to discover that they cancelled the order!
I had no idea. I was told by an teenage customer service rep. I should have constantly checked my emails and would have seen the cancelation notice. I told him their stock levels should be updated continuously and in real time!.

I will never order from this place again.

I am very disappointed with the way the duty manager in Toys r us qatar handled the complaint> I am in the customer service feild and I know very well how a compliant should be handled professionally and turn them into compliment. unfortunetly, and I did not know that when you reverse an item its price will increase when you come back to buy it?? I hope that I will get a reply from your company on my complaint.

10-2-10 on 10-2-10 they sent me a email saying it got backordered and they already took the money out of my bank!!!!!
O yea did i tell you about it said we qualified 4 free shipping but we paid $5 for shipping, and it didn't even arrive on time! i'm never buying from there again. they just lost a costumer.

Free gift card PROMO isn't a real PROMO event!!!

If your thinking to make purchase on PROMO (free gift card) item... Think twice or more before buying it. If you have any doubt that you might be returning the item, don't bother to buy from here. If you return to exchange you'll actually end up spending more at Toysrus or babaysrus.

By the way even corporate customer service is POOR POOR.
They don't exist for customers.

I returned several items to my local ToysRUs store in a reusable shopping bag (they sell them in the store and we are encouraged everywhere to use them.) After the return, I dropped my wallet into the bag and proceeded to shop in the store. I have done this in this and many stores before. However, this time a salesclerk stopped me and said "You can't have that in here. I'll take it to the service desk." I said "Fine -- just let me get my wallet out of it." I felt like a thief. I was never treated like this before. Don't they have security cameras? I follow the rules -- I never would think of taking merchandise into the rest room. I don't like being treated like this and will not shop at this store again!!!

i went to the store yesterday to exchange may DSi and i got a insurance for this but the cashier told me that i can't exchange this or return and i need call the toll free number to explain what happen to my DSi, is like i waste may time and may gas to go there. to all may friends and who ever wants to buy a system to try to buy a the toysrus go to bestbuy or some where else. And i one more thing all the cashier in there is so so so so rude
